The 6253 foot-long train

A train with 100 carriages and a length of 6,253 feet operated by a Swiss railway firm broke a Guinness World Record. The Albula Tunnel in Preda to the Landwasser Viaduct, close to Filisur, was travelled by the Rhaetian Railway’s train, which was made up of 25 four-part Capricorn railcars from Swiss manufacturer Stadler.

The 15 1/2-mile trip was completed by the railway in approximately one hour. The train set the global record for the longest narrow gauge passenger train, according to a Guinness World Records representative who was on board.
